On-going project for the design of the new central station in Oslo. A comparison of a traditional system and a reciprocal system was made to check which is the most efficient alternative to get the geometry the architects originally wanted. Several alternatives were made, including moment-stiff joints in the canopy, including its semi-rigid behaviour. A reciprocal frame with simple joints is still the main design option.
